Microsoft's Internet Explorer 3 (or 4) or AOL

If you are using Microsoft's Internet Explorer 3 (or 4) or AOL (which uses a modified version of Internet Explorer), to view these web pages and their graphics best, you will need to de-select the check mark from the "Use Compressed Graphics" dialog box. See the directions that follow:

Internet Explorer 3.0 and 4.0 ...

If you use Microsoft's Internet Explorer 3.0 and 4.0, you will need to de-select the check mark from the "Use Compressed Graphics" dialog box. "Tools", "Internet Options", "Web Graphics", de-select the check mark from the "Use Compressed Graphics" dialog box. I no longer have these on my computer, so the above directions are close, but may off a little. I'm using version 5 beta.

America Online (AOL) Users ...

America Online (AOL) 3.0 for Windows 95 users:

Here is how to do that: Click on "Members" in AOL's main menu bar, then "Preferences", and then the "AOL Internet Properties" box will pop up. Click on the "Web Graphics" tab, and then de-select the check mark from the "Use Compressed Graphics" dialog box.

America Online (AOL) 4.0 for Windows 95 users:

Here is how to do that: Click on "My AOL", in AOL's main menu bar, then "Preferences", then "WWW" icon, then "Internet Options" applet will "pop up", click on "Web Graphics" tab, and de-select "Use compressed graphics".

Want to use a different WWW Browser with AOL?

Here is how to do that: First start and "log on" to AOL, then open the browser, like Netscape. There are several ways to do this, but minimizing AOL will always work, then click on your alternate browser. This should work on most systems, but configuration and, therefore results do vary. I recommend that you use Microsoft's Internet Explorer 3.0 (or above) or Netscape's Navigator 3.0 (or above) to view these web pages and their graphics.
